Q. Do I need a boat?
Not to get started. The club have a number of boats suitable to learn in. You will probably want your own boat at some point, if you enjoy sailing. We encourage you to get familiar with the basics and move toward ownership after a year with us.
Q. Do you offer training?
We can get you started with our informal training sessions on Saturdays. Once you're familiar, you can choose to take an RYA qualification at a local training centre.
Q. Can I hire a boat?
As a new member you will have access to our fleet of starter boats. We have Toppers, Picos, a Miracle, a Comet and two Lasers.
